Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 July 2026
1. Agreement and who can enrol
These Terms are an agreement between LearnStack Academy, operated by 7TPI Innovations and Education Pvt. Ltd. ("LearnStack", "we", "us"), and the parent or legal guardian ("you") who creates an account. By booking a session or purchasing a package, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- Only adults (18+) with legal authority over the enrolled child may create an account and purchase sessions.
- Students must be within the recommended age range of their chosen learning track (Stack), as advised during the discovery call.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide about your child.
2. The service
LearnStack provides live, online, project-based technology mentorship (1-on-1 and small groups of up to 4 students), delivered by an assigned mentor, together with access to our learning platform containing session recordings, curriculum, assignments, exercises and progress tracking.
- We aim to keep the same mentor for every session. If a mentor is unavailable, we reschedule rather than substitute, unless you agree otherwise.
- Session recordings are provided for your family's review as described in the Privacy Policy. Recordings and curriculum materials are for your family's personal use and may not be republished or resold.
- We may update curriculum content, the learning platform, and track offerings over time to improve the service.
3. Free discovery call and trial session
The discovery call and the first trial session are free and carry no obligation. No payment details are required to book them.
4. Packages, pricing and payment
- Sessions are sold as packages (for example, 4-session and 12-session packages) billed in advance. Current pricing is displayed on our website and confirmed before purchase.
- Packages are not auto-renewing subscriptions. We will ask before billing you again.
- Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion fees.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card details.
- Group pricing assumes a group of 3–4 students matched by age and level; if a stable group cannot be formed within a reasonable time, we will offer you alternatives or a refund of unused amounts.
5. Refunds, pausing and cancellation
- Two-week guarantee: unused sessions in a newly purchased package are fully refundable within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.
- After 14 days, unused sessions are refundable on a pro-rata basis at our discretion if the service has not been delivered as described, or convertible to credit toward another Stack.
- You may pause a package or switch Stacks at any time by emailing us; unused sessions remain valid for 6 months from purchase.
- Completed sessions are non-refundable.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
6. Scheduling, rescheduling and missed sessions
- Sessions are scheduled at a recurring weekly time agreed with your mentor.
- You may reschedule a 1-on-1 session at no cost with at least 24 hours' notice.
- If a student misses a 1-on-1 session without notice, the session is counted as used; we will make reasonable efforts to offer one goodwill make-up per package.
- Group sessions run on the group's schedule; a missed group session is counted as used, but the recording remains available and the mentor will help the student catch up in the next session.
- If we cancel a session, it is always rescheduled or credited — never lost.
7. Hardware kits
- Hardware tracks require a kit (typically USD 40–90 one-time per track). We send you a parts list for approval before the track starts; you purchase parts directly (for example, from Amazon in your country) or through us at cost where offered.
- Kits are your property. We are not responsible for retailer shipping delays, but we will adjust the session plan so your child is never blocked waiting for parts.
- Adult supervision is recommended for young children handling electronic components. Kits use low-voltage, education-grade components; you are responsible for safe use at home.
8. Safeguarding and conduct
- All sessions are recorded, and parents may join or observe any session.
- Mentors may only interact with students inside scheduled sessions and the monitored learning platform — never through private channels.
- We expect respectful behaviour from students toward mentors and other students, and from parents toward our team. We may pause or end enrolment (with a pro-rata refund of unused sessions) in cases of persistent abusive conduct.
- If you ever have a safeguarding concern, contact us immediately at hello@learnstack.academy; it will be treated with priority and confidentiality.
9. Student work and intellectual property
- Projects your child builds belong to your child. Their project portfolio is theirs to keep, share and show off.
- Our curriculum, teaching materials, platform, brand and website content belong to LearnStack and are licensed to your family for personal educational use during and after enrolment, not for redistribution or commercial use.
- We will only feature a student's name, likeness or project in marketing with your prior written consent — and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- We promise honest, competent mentorship — we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, competition results or admissions results.
- The service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Otherwise, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- Consumers in the EU, UK, Australia and other jurisdictions retain all mandatory statutory rights; these Terms do not reduce them.
11. Changes to the service or these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will email enrolled parents at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance; if you disagree, you may cancel and receive a refund of unused sessions.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you enjoy in your country of residence. We will always try to resolve any issue directly and informally first — email us and a founder will reply.
